You can do pretty much what you like with your result: create signatures with name added, extras or stats, websets.

This pointing hand is here to help you. You can drag and drop it and use it as a marker to help with following the tutorial.

Tube of your choice, free or not, but the credit for the tube must be added to your tag. The tube I am using is © Suzanne Woolcott - http://gorjuss.co.uk.  If you use the same tube, you need a license that you can get here: Gorjuss Art. and don't forget: you can only have one © on your tag.

Template : One of Rachel of Essence of Creativity - Template 38 to download on her blog.

Scrapkit: Thanksgiving created by Laura of
Danielle's Scraps. Link: Thanksgiving

Fonts: Cheri et Pixelette for the credits.

You can download my E-Book which will let you work without being connected.

Open Template 38 in PSP. We don't work on the original. So click on Shift and letter D on
your keyboard to make a copy. Close the original.
Close the Info layer right at the top on the Layer Palette.

Then click on  Image > Canvas Size and enter 700 for the width and 500 for the height and center. You now have more space to work.
Close the credits layer right at the top.
Activate the  "circle" layer. Then Selections > Select All > Selections > Float > Selections > Defloat. Fill with black.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 1 pixel> Use the Flood Fill Tool to fill the selection with one of the papers. I used:
paper 09. On the Styles Palette, click on Pattern, find your paper and then and then use these settings:
Angle = 45 et Echelle = 10.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 6 and fill with black. Selections > Modify > Contract by 1 and fill with another paper of your choice or paper13 and on the Styles Palette, you put the scale back at 100 and the Angle at 0.
Deselect and add a Drop Shadow:
 H = -1 et V = 1
 O = 50 et B = 2
Delete the "circle" layer and rename your new one "circle".

Activate the "square 2" layer. Then Selections > Select All > Selections > Float > Selections > Defloat. Fill with black.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 1 pixel> Use the Flood Fill Tool to fill the selection with one of the papers. I used: paper 09. On the Styles Palette, click on Pattern, find your paper and then and then use these settings:
Angle = 45 et Echelle = 10.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 6 and fill with black. Selections > Modify > Contract by 1 and fill with another paper of your choice or paper5 and on the Styles Palette, you put the scale back at 100 and the Angle at 0.
>Deselect and add a Drop Shadow.
Dete the"square 2" layer and rename your new one "square 2".

Activate the"square 1" layer. Then Selections > Select All > Selections > Float > Selections > Defloat. Fill with black.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 1 pixel> Use the Flood Fill Tool to fill the selection with one of the papers. I used: paper09>. On the Styles Palette, click on Pattern, find your paper and then and then use these settings:
Angle = 45 et Echelle = 10.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 6 and fill with black. Selections > Modify > Contract by 1 and fill with another paper of your choice or paper5 and on the Styles Palette, you put the scale back at 100 and the Angle at 0.

Deselect and add a Drop Shadow.
 Delete the "square 1" layer and rename your new one "square 1".

Activate the "rectangles" layer. Then Selections > Select All > Selections > Float > Selections > Defloat. Fill with black.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 1 pixel> Use the Flood Fill Tool to fill the selection with one of the papers. I used paper09. On the Styles Palette, click on Pattern, find your paper and then and then use these settings:
Angle = 45 et Echelle = 10
Deselect and add a Drop Shadow.
 Delete the "rectangles" layer and rename your new one "rectangles"

Then with the Selection Tool draw a rectangle around the rectangle at the top, leave some space all around the rectangle, then click in the space and you should see the marching ants around the rectangle.
Then copy and paste as a new layer and move the copy under the square. Delete the original.
Activate this new rectangle layer and Selections > Select All > Selections > Float > Selections > Defloat. Fill with black.
Selections > Modify > Contract by 1 pixel and use the Flood Fill Tool to fill the selection with one of the papers. I used: paper 13. On the Styles Palette, click on Pattern, find your paper and then and then use these settings: Angle = 0 et Echelle = 100.

Add your tube and the elements.

Click on "square 1" layer and add "Be Thankful dinner" resized at 27%.
Pumpkins: I used 3, all resized. The first one is 22% of the original. Then I duplicated the resized pumpkin and resized it at 85%. I then duplicated Pumpkin 2 and resized it at 90%.
Crow: resized at 30%. Remove the grass around the feet with the Freehand selection tool configured like this:

Selection type - Point to point
Feather - 0
Anti-alias - 1

When using the Freehand tool, it is important to really zoom in and to go really slowly, you click with the left button of your mouse as often as possible to really follow the curves. Then cut around the legs to remove the grass.

Sheep: resized at 35%.
Then apply the same Drop Shadow to all your elements.

Save with all the layers open.

And resized at 85% if you like the tag not too big.

Close the white background layer and merge visible all the other layers. Duplicate this layer and activate the Merged layer.
Click on effects > Blur > Gaussian Blur and enter 15. In some versions of PSP, you will find this effect under .
Then Effects > Texture Effects > Weave:
Gap size = 2
Width = 8
Opacity = 50
Weave color and Gap color = White.
Check Fill gaps.

Add a new layer right and move it to the top. Add your credits: use Pixelette - size 6 floating and with anti-alias unchecked.

For the text Happy Thanksgiving I have used Cheri - Size 28; Bold; anti-alias and Floating checked; Stroke Color Black and size 1 and Fill Color: 09 with the Angle at 45 and Scale at 10. Add the same Drop Shadow.

File > Save As. And for my results page, please send a version on a white background. Thank you.

Another result: I used some of the elements in the kit. In this case, you add the credit for the kit but without a copyright.
