Optimizer settings for Pixel graphics: -these have a solid outline. Saving as a gif with a transparent background.
So you have just finished your tutorial and you want to save your result with a transparent background.

1. Open Animation Shop and the file you want to save.
2. File > Save As and name your image.
3. Click on Save.
4. A new window opens. It's the Animation wizard.
5. Click on Customize. You will see three tabs. Click on each one in turn and set them as mine:

6.Colors Tab: - Here you choose: you can select Optmized Octree or Optmized Median Cut

7. Optimizations Tab:

8. Partial Transparency Tab:

9. Click on OK. Then Next > Next > Next> Finish! And that's it!

Optimizer settings for Non Pixel graphics - these will not have a solid outline, the outline will have some semi-transparent pixels. Saving as a gif with a transparent background.
You repeat steps 6 and 7 as above but for the third tab, you set it up like this:

And then repeat 9 above.
